Alles Wat Je Moet Weten Over Bodylotion Spray van DM

Beste voor onder de douche: Nivea Body Lotion Douche

Voordelen:

  • Verrijkt met amandelolie
  • Hydraterend
  • Te gebruiken onder de douche
  • Budgetvriendelijk
  • Geen vette huid meer na het smeren

Nadelen:

Rated 3 out of 5 by cinnaminb from amazing product The body spray moisturizer was extremely silky. I love how smoothly it went on my skin. It didnt leave my skin feeling oily or itchy like some moisturizers tend to do. The scent was very clean, pleasant and light. My husband also really enjoyed how it smelled and felt when he used the moistuizer too. I only rated 3 stars because I am not exactly fond of the spray function. Would have rated it higher if it maybe sprayed less per pump, as I feel like there was seemingly a lot of unnecessary over spray when trying to spray on areas such as arms or legs. This was easily fixed by spraying in the palm and applying it in that manner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by lourdgz from This is a BIG NO for me I have a question before giving my review. why the fragrance? Theres something I dont understand, this is a brand recommended by my dermatologist because I suffer of atopic dermatitis caused by fragrances and this particular stuff has a LOT of it, I putted on my arm and it feels cold but not in a refreshing way it feels like putting acetone on your skin and then put something cold on in, like its burning. I dont know, is such a weird sensation If you have normal skin you probably would like it because it dries fast. Sensitive/dry skins stay away from this. I rinsed with water and soap and still smells. Im returning this item

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Not my favorite! Fragrance-free sheer hydration body spray moisturizer, is a thin light weight formula. It’s non-greasy and does hydrate my skin. My main con about this is that after application it’s tacky on my hands. I literally have to just wash them. It doesn’t end up absorbing into my hands. On my body it’s fine. I don’t know if anyone is experiencing the same!? I was really excited but it is disappointing that I can’t apply without having to wash my hands in the end. When applying to my body well I just apply it and leave it, so the tackiness of it is not at all noticeable like it is on my hands. I do like the packaging of this because it’ makes it easy to apply.

What to Look For

With so many body lotions on the market, which list countless ingredients with unpronounceable names, it's difficult to determine which components to look for—and which to stay away from.

Dr. Aya Ahram adds, "Look for a mixture of ingredients to help target moisture retention and water loss across the skin barrier: humectant ingredients—which draw in water from the air into the skin—such as glycerin and hyaluronic acid, as well as occlusives, which seal water in the skin, like petrolatum and dimethicone." She also recommends "emollients, which provide moisture to the skin, like shea butter and ceramides."

Then comes the fun stuff. Your formula might come with antioxidants. “Vitamin E, C, and green tea extract for example have a dual purpose in preventing free radical damage and may also brighten and moisturize skin,” says Dr. Kikam. Your body lotion might have retinol in it as well, which is ideal for anti-aging. Or, maybe there’s an acid in the mix. “These are wonderful for those with acne prone skin, body hyperpigmentation, KP, and even psoriasis.”

Meanwhile, if you're combatting body acne, Dr. Ahram advises using "a face moisturizer that is non-comedogenic or oil-free so that the moisturizer does not make acne worse."

What to Avoid

In terms of what to avoid, Dr. Ahram says, "In general, I don't love fragrance because it can cause irritation in people with sensitive skin or atopic dermatitis, as they already have a fragile skin barrier and I prefer to avoid ingredients that can cause irritation. Some can tolerate it without any negative side effects, but in general I do not recommend products that are heavily fragranced."

Double board-certified dermatologist and psychiatrist Dr. Amy Wechsler also recommends "avoiding ingredients such as lactic acid and glycolic acid" if you're looking for something highly moisturizing that won't irritate your skin.

Finally, Dr. Greenfield says, “I like to see that there are no drying ingredients like alcohol or any strong fragrances that may cause reactions in the skin."
