More than chasing trends, Bondi Sands aims to promote healthy, confident skin by making self-care accessible. Their self-tanner and skincare collections contain antioxidants and hydrators like vitamin E, jojoba oil and aloe vera.

While not 100% natural, the company avoids harsh chemicals in favor of skin-nourishing ingredients. They also boast cruelty-free, vegan and reef-friendly credentials.

As part of their 2020 relaunch, Bondi Sands introduced "Pure" self-tanning options that align with clean, green beauty values.

The Pure collection features 100% recyclable packaging filled with nourishing, natural derived ingredients like aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil and shea butter. Formulas also skipping harsh sulfates, parabens, fragrances and dyes.

They also gained Leaping Bunny certification officially deeming all products cruelty-free. However, I‘d love to see them pursue more rigorous eco-certifications to validate sustainability initiatives further.

According to cosmetic chemist Perry Romanowski, active tanning ingredient DHA maintains an excellent safety profile for both skin and overall health. Minimal risk comes with proper use.
