If you‘ve made it all the way here, thanks for sticking with me! I know that was an epic novel of a skincare review. 😅
Here‘s the bottom line:
If you struggle with moderate to severe eczema flares, give Gladskin a shot, especially if OTC anti-itch creams haven‘t helped long-term. Using it consistently alongside lifestyle changes and doctor‘s treatments can make a big difference.
If you have milder eczema or seasonal flares, Gladskin may still be worth trying when you notice early symptoms. It could help nip more bothersome breakouts in the bud.
If other sensitive skin conditions like rosacea or reddness plague you, their Redness Relief Cream could be a game changer to gradually improve symptoms.
No matter what though, talk to a dermatologist if you have concerns about a worsening rash or painful flare up. Getting your eczema under control often requires a multi-pronged approach.
Whew, I hope this novel of a blog post on my experience using Gladskin for eczema was helpful for you! Drop any questions you might have in the comments. I‘m happy to chat more there 🙂
Your friend who totally gets the eczema struggle,
Maggie

Firstly this is totally safe and not a steroid so already gets my thumbs up.
I did notice that my skin improved using this cream. It is cooling to apply, smooth and didn’t irritate my skin. It also went a very long way for a small 50ml sample.
I do have very dry skin though so I used GladSkin is a base layer and applied emollient on top when my skin felt particularly dry and tight. I wonder if the gel may be better for particularly dry skin.
What I like most about GladSkin is that it’s actively addressing a problem with eczema skin, ie. the bacteria. So many products sold for eczema are just sticky, gloopy stuff, especially the prescribed tubs of lard that I use, because I can’t afford not to. There is nothing healing or beneficial to skin in any of the emollients I use that I get on prescription. All they do is smother the skin, and they do help moisturise but they are not pleasant to use.
GladSkin is also in a pump dispenser so is more hygienic than dipping fingers into a pot.
The only thing I found uncomfortable was the feel of it on the palms of my hands. I always want to wash the layer off from my palms, which are not affected by eczema anyway. Everywhere else it felt lovely on my skin, so I guess maybe it’s just me being weird.
Has anyone else tried this? How did you find it on your eczema? Would you recommend it?

Gladskin was born from a discovery about the role of endolysin proteins in maintaining a balanced and healthy skin microbiome. This breakthrough was made by Professor Dr. Martin Loessner’s Department of Health Sciences and Technology Laboratory at the ETH Zurich University in Switzerland. Our science is founded on the belief that we must respect Mother Nature's complexity when solving health issues. We believe in truly restoring health, rather than simply reducing symptoms (although we do that too). We respect the fact that human bodies evolved naturally over billions of years. We believe that because of new microbiome science, we are on the brink of a scientific revolution that is redefining health.
While it has some limitations, having 48-72 hours of relief from maddening eczema itch makes the cost worth it to me for maintenance. Especially because I know it‘s safe for long-term daily use.
But you‘ll have to weigh up the pros and cons against your own needs and budget.
