Michael Kors. Ich kenne seine Düfte irgendwie gar nicht,… sollte ich das?
Jedenfalls halte ich gerade eine Probe dieser Marke in den Händen, die in den letzten Jahren erschienen ist: Wonderlust. Seltsamer Name. Für einen Comicfan … ähm, wohl eher Comicfreak wie mich fällt einem da natürlich sofort die heiße Wonder Woman ein, aber ich schreibe mal lieber nicht weiter über diese Superheldin… schon gar nicht in Kombination mit dem Begriff „Lust“ und… ja ja, ich weiß, einige sagen jetzt sicher mal wieder, dass ich dringend ne Freundin bräuchte… *seufz* Das weiß ich ja selber, also sagt nichts. :DD
(Und nur mal so nebenbei, ich stehe gar nicht sooo sehr auf Wonder Woman, wenn schon dann mehr auf Supergirl oder Power Girl oder oder oder… :D).

Argh! Kommen wir stattdessen lieber mal zum Duft, der unter anderem Mandarine, Mandelmilch und Jasmin enthält, wie die Duftpyramide offenbart, was sich meiner Meinung nach ja ganz nett anhört.

Toll… ich habe übrigens so lange überlegt, was ich in der Einleitung schreiben könnte, dass sogar mein Tee kalt geworden ist. … ich gehe es schnell durch heißen Tee ersetzen und komme sofort wieder… :D

Im Grunde startet der Duft mit allen Noten, die in der Kopfnote der Duftpyramide angegeben sind. Am stärksten stechen dabei zunächst die Mandarine und das Mandelmilch heraus, wobei auch der rosa Pfeffer danach immer stärker wird. Außerdem kann ich jetzt schon den süßlichen Jasmin heraus riechen. Der Anfang ist allerdings nichts besonderes, oder besser gesagt, nichts Neues, was aber nicht schlimm ist, da er ja nett und feminin duftet, vielleicht ein klein wenig synthetisch, was aber ebenfalls nicht weiter schlimm ist.
Ab der Herznote riecht man mehr süßliche Noten, da sich der Jasmin richtig entfaltet. Die leicht zitrischen Noten vom Anfang verschwinden völlig und werden durch blumige Noten ersetzt, wobei man die Nelke unter ihnen nicht riechen kann. Dazu kommt ein leichter Marzipanartiger Duft, was vom Heliotrop kommen sollte.
Außerdem ist der Duft sehr weich, also sanft, so dass man sich damit recht wohl fühlt, selbst wenn wie gesagt ein kleiner synthetischer Beigeschmack bleiben sollte.
In der Basis riecht der Duft weiterhin sehr süß und blumig. Dazu bleibt der Duft wie eben beschrieben auch sehr sanft durch das Benzoe. Ein netter Duft, der aber keine nennenswerten Stärken vorzuweisen hat.

From Wonderlust, I get a terrific blast of florals in the opening that refuses to quiet down with time. I am a lover of almond fragrances, and sadly, I don't see this as almond forward like others seem to. It is heavy with jasmine and soft with heliotrope, like someone has just given me a delightful bouquet. Or, perhaps, I've been handed the bouquet from my butler while I'm feasting on a delicious almond treat - I am too enchanted with the bouquet and the pleasant scent it gives me to focus at all on the dessert I've long left on the table.

I would say that this perfume isn't gourmand. It doesn't ring sweet like other almond scents do to me, it rings beautiful. I could imagine this at a wedding. I could even imagine this at a funeral. It is classy, beautiful, perhaps even mournful in the right context, but gracious and happy in others. I do not dislike it one bit!

The longevity is okay. It's not fleeting, but it doesn't stay with me all day like a clingy lover or an anxious dog. It projects well, and amongst knitters and scrapbookers, this has been a big hit! Compliments galore. It is a favorable scent with mass appeal, at least, so long as you are not in a room full of people who dislike floral scents.

Sprayed some on my arm today because, sniffing it from the bottle, I quite liked it. But. oh no. after a few minutes it was all I don't like in a perfume. Way too much of everything and cloyingly sweet. All I dislike in most modern scents ugh! I kept smelling it while I had to do some more shopping and it really annoyed me and gave me a headache. Once I got home, I couldn't wait to wash it off, which wasn't easy I can assure you. So longevity is impressive, in this case too imressive..
I really can't analyse the notes in this, I didn't get something fresh like mandarine, maybe the almondmilk notes don't match quite well with mandarin, I actually can imagine those two can easily clash. Heliotrope often doesn't perform well on my skin, so this may also be the problem.
I also find nothing authentic in this scent, it even briefly reminded me of Maroussia which I detest.
