Just wondering why my credit limit was…

Just wondering why my credit limit was reduced from 1700 to 1000 without being informed at least.

This happened after I paid off my full remaining balance on the 12th September. But only today on 12th Oct 23' when I logged into the App (again), I saw my limit had gone down. But am also in credit by a couple of pounds.

So I went to chat to an advisor and she informed me that my limit was cut on 1st Oct. From my end though, it didnt show any decrease till today. I thought the App was playing up, as no form of alert was issued to inform me of the new limit. Not even a text msge.

I have never missed a payment, nor been late nor even gone over 50% of my limit.

- I was an all round very happy customer of Fluid untill today. - EVEN a simple notification in the App to alert me of the change would have sufficed.

The lady I spoke to today said that it was slashed because I am not using enough of my credit limit. Is that true? I am not convinced. Is it *really* because during the last 5 months I have had a balance which I wasnt paying in full? I would have thought the 8 to 10 quid a month interest I was paying (after my balance transfer offer had expired) was a PLUS for you guys? Anyway, just wanted to get that off my chest as I can't help but feel its personal.
