Zurecht, schließlich vernachlässigen viele immer noch Sonnencreme im Alltag und setzen ihre Haut Trockenheit, UV-Strahlen oder falscher Pflege aus. Lidl La Prairie dupe: Cien Cellulair Beauty

Dat twee crèmes dezelfde ingrediënten bevatten, betekent natuurlijk niet per se dat ze dus ook exact dezelfde werking hebben. Hoe zit het dan met de Lidl La Prairie dupes? Zijn ze echt even goed? Helaas is dat iets dat je het beste zelf kunt ondervinden. Volgens veel gebruikers zijn de Cien producten inderdaad geweldig en zorgen ze voor een zachtere en minder droge huid.

Aan de andere kant is Lidl’s dupe volgens sommigen zeker niet even goed als La Prairie. Je moet ook maar net aan de originele crème zien te komen om het daadwerkelijk te kunnen testen. Hoe dan ook lijkt iedereen het er wel over eens te zijn dat je in ieder geval heel blij moet zijn als je de Cien Cellular Beauty potjes kunt bemachtigen. Niet alleen werken ze goed, maar ze komen ook nog eens met een belachelijk lage prijs. Het enige nadeel is dat ze altijd behoorlijk snel weer zijn uitverkocht.

Overeenkomst ingrediënten Cien dagcreme Lidl vs. La prairie

De overeenkomst in werkzame actieve ingrediënten, waar je de crème voor smeert, zijn er daarentegen maar drie. Zowel de Cien Lidl crème als de La Prairie crème bevat de actieve ingrediënten: octocylene (slecht zonnefilter), hyaluronzuur en myrothamnus flabellifolia extract.

De hype rondom de goedkope Cien Lidl crème is vooral ontstaan door dit laatst ingrediënt: myrothamnus Flabellifolia extract. Dit is een plantextract dat vol zit met antioxidanten. Klinkt goed, denk je nu misschien. Maar er zit een dikke MAAR aan. Zowel de Cien dagcrème als de La Prairie dagcrème zit namelijk in een potje en antioxidanten overleven slecht in potjes. Ze hadden dit ingrediënt er dus net zo goed uit kunnen laten…

It contains Myramaze, which apparently deeply moisturises the skin and supports the natural cell regeneration process. And it’s that ingredient which helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

In fact, Myramze has been nicknamed, according to Philosophy, ‘the resurrection plant’, because it’s derived from a plant species that can survive extreme dehydration.

The theory is that Myramaze protects the skin lipids from oxidation while locking in moisture – so your skin constantly being replenished.

La Prairie doesn’t list its ingredients so we don’t know if that cream contains Myramaze or not…yet.

Both products claim to support the skin’s natural cell regeneration process, reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

But according to advanced skin facialist Andy Millward, Lidl might be overegging the pudding.

‘Even if the £494 face cream does contain Myramaze, you can’t simply compare products based on a single active ingredient in isolation. We have a saying in the skincare industry that “formulation is king”, meaning the product is only as good as the formulation as a whole, not an individual active ingredient. The more ingredients, the higher the cost. The La Prairie Cellular Radiance Cream clearly contains more active ingredients than the Lidl Cien Cellular Beauty Cream.

‘Equally to break it down further, active ingredients vary in formulation by the percentage added to the product, the delivery system used within the product (i.e. how do you get the active ingredient into the skin and bypass the skin’s lipids bi-layers) and how the active ingredient is stabilised and packaged to ensure its potency and efficacy when its applied to the skin.

‘The point being, there are many factors to consider and product formulations vary in sophistication, not just the presence of an ingredient.’
